Boston Bridge

Hi, I'm Joe Marcucci and I'd like to tell you a little about me and my family.

The Marcucci Family After living in New Hampshire for twenty-five years, we packed our bags in June of 2004 and moved to Medford, Massachusetts. Six of our seven children moved with us, and one daughter and grandson remain in New Hampshire. One quick explanation for this curious move is that we love people more than we love trees. And here we have people--all kinds of interesting people--and we're enjoying that very much. Our son Sam said that he experienced more diversity working two days at Dunkin Donuts in Medford, than he did in 16 years of living in the Granite State. Moreover, we moved here in time to be locals when our beloved Red Sox erased 86 years of frustrating history and won the World Series. Teaching our children, walking in the woods, riding bikes, reading, youth sports and enjoying our friends and family fill out our lives and make living fun.

But our true passion is the church. While parts of our hearts remain in New Hampshire where I pastored for 16 years at Christ the King Church, we left what was good, to pursue what is best. We've come to Medford to join some friends in order to plant Gateway Community Church, tell people about Jesus and see our church make a real difference in many lives.

We love people, and hope that we might meet you in person some time. Thanks for visiting our web site and I hope we see you soon.
